Thanks for doing this but notice quite a few significant speeches are missing. Is there a way to get Brian Schweitzer, for instance?

Clearly, the best speeches of this conference and the most inspiring have been Hillary, Bill, Joe and the Governor of Montanna.
My personal favorates were Hillary and Bill Clinton. The TV pundits are exteremly critical of both of them and look for anything they can latch onto to ciritize….this is unfortunate and I have limited my viewing of this ridiculous commentary. Many are so young they probably were not able to vote for Bill Clinton but have benefited from his two terms. It is all very disapointing.

I’d really like to locate an MP3 of Harry Reid’s speech from the DNC August 27. I teach presentational communication and it affords many opportunities to show my students what a polished rhetorician can do!

I was impressed by they speech of Air Force Maj. Gen. J. Scott Gration. He observed that Obama easily connects with the soldiers, and that he asked intelligent and hard questions talking to both grunts and generals. This is so crucial: the ability to ask, to actively seek input.

Thanks for this opportunity, to listen and learn
while not having to deal with network and cable
television “presentation”, which is just that: lame
crowd shots mixed with predictable “spontaneous”
reaction shots of various self-satisfied pols and
advisers…thanks again!

Thanks for putting these out here. I missed the speech and need to catch-up om my MP3 player. It remains to be seen if Obama can walk the walk as well as he talks the talk… but then.. what is the alternative? I hope the Dems don’t find a way to lose this one.

Thank you for the speeches that you have put up…coming from Kenya,it an honour to especially hear such inspirational speeches.African leaders must aspire to emulate such american leaders like Barrack Obama…Elections should be about issues and not about tribe, wealth, linage and other negative factors. I belive that leadership should be earned through policies that one proposses to better the live of all, not just self interests and wealth accumulation through corrupt means…It is time for African leaders to realize that inorder to lead from the front you have to people covering your Back…these people are important…thes people are your priority.
