Breakfast with Hillary
By Andrea Bernstein
August 25, 2008
The New York Delegation is all abuzz . Okay, they’re asleep now, but at the receptions last night, conventioneers were full of talk of what Hillary Clinton will say at the delegation breakfast this morning. Big range of emotions here, where (unlike recent conventions), nearly half the delegates here came pledged for someone other than the presumptive nominee. “I thought I’d gotten over it after she lost the primary,” mused one, but coming here and finding so many Clinton supporters has brought it all up again.” That’s not true for everyone. “She ran a bad campaign, she had bad strategy, it’s over, let’s move on.” Still, all the lingering Hillary emotion (which the GOP is jumping right in and exploiting with ads and surrogates saying HRC should have been the VEEP choice) means this convention actually has some work to do. The task for dems :get every in the Pespi center (and later Invesco Field) psyched and ready to work. And get everyone listening in America who’s on the fence receptive to hear the Democrat’s message this fall. I’ll check in after the breakfast to tell you how it all begins…

I don’t see ANYTHING obama can do to change our minds. now, we are ‘important’ to obama, before the simplying told us to ‘get over it’.
one should never get rewarded for 1)playing the race card and dividing the party as obama has, and dividing this country 2)stealing our votes.
if obama loses, it’s because obama could not sell obama. Hillary cannot force me to support obama. my vote belongs to me. someone should tell obama that the people hire the potus to serve them. obama thinks we are his servents and demand to be supported or else we are racists or uneducated, etc.
no detailed economic policy (most he copied from Hillary, etc.) will be enough. this is not a serious guy. he’s all about EGO. we need a serious man for a serious time in this country and in this world.
