Clinton Declines Comment on Spitzer

Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton carefully evaded questions about the scandal involving Eliot Spitzer, her home state governor and a superdelegate.
“I don’t have any comment on that. Obviously I am sending my best wishes and thoughts to the governor and to his family,” Clinton said.
If Spitzer resigns, he would not be replaced as a superdelegate, according to the Democratic National Committee.
